Bihar: State has decided to give Corona Vaccine to all the students who are appearing for board exam

Board exams season is starting. There are only a few days left for the Bihar Board exam to begin. Bihar Board Exam 2022 is starting from 01 February 2022. But in the midst of the corona epidemic, there is a challenge to conduct the examination. In such a situation, the Bihar Health Department has taken a very important decision.

As per the instructions of the Government of Bihar, the Health Department of the state has decided to give Corona Vaccine to all the students of class 10th and 12th who are going to appear in the Bihar Board Examination. For this, the Health Department has set the date of 26 January 2022.

In Bihar, the state health department has sent a letter to all the district magistrates regarding giving the vaccine to all board students in the age group of 15 to 18 years at the earliest. Officials were instructed to form a task force and give Covid vaccine to the target group. That would be their priority.

Bihar Health Department's Additional Chief Secretary Pratyay Amit said that 'the campaign to give vaccine to teenagers between 15 to 18 years is being run across the state. A large number of students are likely to appear in the Bihar Board Exam 2022 and other Board Exams 2022 going to be held next month. Therefore, it is our goal to give corona vaccine to all the students of 15 years and above before 26 January 2022.'

He told that 'We have asked all the district magistrates to constitute task forces at the district level and block level and engage them on the work of vaccination at the earliest, so that we can fulfill our target.'

Pratyay Amit Bihar Health Department, Admission Chief Secretary, Bihar Health Department also told that 'those shools which will achieve 100% vaccination before 26 January 2022, will be honored on the occasion of Republic Day'. '

According to the report, this time around 32 lakh students from different boards have registered for the High School in Bihar.
